Licence & billing

The Axolot Perpetual Licence™, paid once, or the monthly Axolot™ Subscription with no commitment.

Axolot works with a perpetual licence. You pay once to unlock the application, with no mandatory subscription. If you prefer to spread the cost, the monthly Axolot™ Subscription unlocks the same features while active, with no commitment and cancellable at any time from the Stripe portal. Buying the perpetual licence later cancels the subscription immediately, without refunding past monthly payments.

The licence is tied to the company for which it was purchased or activated during trial. It does not automatically follow a company switch in the selector.

From trial to licence

  • Free trial of 14 days, no credit card required.
  • Purchase the licence to unlock the application permanently.
  • Track your access right, whether active, pending or expired.

Expired licence

If your trial or licence has expired, the dashboard, accounting modules and plugin catalogue are locked and hidden from the menu. Only the Licence page remains accessible to reactivate your access or permanently delete the company (if no active right remains).

Payment

Payment is processed securely. On confirmation, your licence is activated automatically. Optional modules are paid separately from the catalogue.

Stripe pricing All paid products (core licence and plugins) are configured from /platform → Products by linking a Stripe price (price_…). Axolot syncs the name, amounts and currency from Stripe, and checkout always reuses these prices. Without a configured price_…, the displayed price is « N/A » and purchase is disabled.

The Licence page also lists plugins currently subscribed for the company, with their current price (monthly or annual) and direct access to the Stripe portal to manage these subscriptions.

From the Licence page, you can download an official PDF of your licence (certificate reserved for the perpetual licence, Stripe invoices serve as proof for the subscription). The document includes the unique licence number, holder company, key dates (activation/purchase), attached plugins, transfer history and a second page with the general terms of sale (GTS), the data processing agreement (DPA) and the legal notice. It is generated in the language currently active in your interface.

Legal texts frozen at purchase The terms of sale and legal notice printed in the PDF are those in force at the time you purchased your licence. If our terms change later (for example a change of business model), your PDF keeps reflecting the terms you accepted on that day.

Transfer licence or data

If you have a paid licence, the Settings → Transfer page lets you move your licence or accounting data to another of your companies yourself. This feature is not available during the free trial, nor when the core licence is a subscription (cancel it, then subscribe again from the target company).

  • Transfer licences moves your rights (licence and modules) and billing history to the target company, without moving accounting data.
  • Transfer data moves all your accounting data (customers, invoices, operations…) and the source company licence at the same time, and your access to both companies is preserved.
The target company must be another company you are already linked to. A preview flags any conflicts before data transfer. Duplicates in core accounting, VAT codes and default dashboard (Axolot base data) are ignored automatically.
